Eastern Pennsylvania Freight Planning Real Estate Analysis

BJH worked with WSP USA to develop a multi-regional freight plan for Eastern Pennsylvania Freight Alliance (EPFA). The team is developing a plan that assesses freight travel strategies within a robust mega-regional transportation network. In addition, the plan is proposing strategies that accommodate the growing industrial sector without jeopardizing system mobility, reliability or security. To support the plan development, BJH is conducting an industrial real estate market analysis in ten counties in the Eastern Pennsylvania region to identify the current locations of freight-related and industrial land uses which impact goods movement, including bottlenecks and best practices, as well as general trends over the last ten years for these types of land uses. BJH is also analyzing different industrial typologies and the macroeconomic data to identify emerging freight trends which will be used in the planning process.
