Hannah Yujing Zhao, Intern Analyst

Hannah Zhao is a 2026 Summer Analyst Intern at BJH Advisors with experience across real estate investment, credit underwriting, architecture, construction, and data analysis. She is pursuing dual master’s degrees in real estate development and architecture at Columbia University, with a focus on underwriting, development feasibility, capital markets, and the built environment.

Prior to BJH, Hannah worked as a CRE Credit Analyst Intern at Centennial Bank, where she supported underwriting for bridge, and construction loans. Her work included analyzing a $200 million revolving credit facility across seven eligible assets, evaluating asset cash flows, sponsor financials, loan sizing, and collateral coverage.

She also worked as a part time Real Estate Investment Analyst at Veira Properties, where she supports acquisition underwriting across hotel, multifamily, and condominium assets through cash flow modeling, market research, comps analysis, sensitivity testing, and investment materials.

At Columbia, Hannah served as Co President of Women in Real Estate Development and as a Graduate Teaching Assistant for Real Estate Finance I and Environmental Sustainability for Real Estate Development. She is also a Goldie Scholar, WX Scholar, and CREW NY Past President Scholar.

Hannah earned dual undergraduate degrees in Architecture and Building Construction Technology from UMass Amherst Honors College, with minors in Information Technology and Economics. Her background gives her a cross-disciplinary perspective across finance, design, construction, and urban development.
