CFDA: Multi-faceted Business Support Programs

BJH is working the with Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA) and the City of New York to create a set of multi-faceted business support programs for fashion producers-which includes technology upgrades, real estate incentives, moving support, employee training, and branding/business training - that would help establish a new fashion hub in Sunset Park, Brooklyn. BJH's role was to provide primary research into the needs of fashion production companies, as well as to understand how designers and manufacturers might more closely cluster-both physically and through other business model synergies - to create the new cluster in Brooklyn. BJH also worked with the Harvard School of Design to study innovate design ideas that reimagine a new, modern industrial design center.
