Sofie Ledor, Intern Analyst
Sofie Ledor is an Intern Analyst at BJH Advisors, where she brings an interdisciplinary perspective to planning, real estate development, and economic development. She is currently pursuing her B.A. in Urban Studies and Economics at Barnard College, with coursework in real estate finance, urban economics, GIS, and adaptive reuse development—refining her analytical and market research skills.
Sofie is deeply captivated by the ways cities can be shaped into better places to live, work, connect, and play. Guided by the belief that strategic real estate development is one of the most potent tools we have today to strengthen communities, she has focused her academic and professional life on understanding how smart development can foster community resilience.
Sofie’s work experience spans high-impact roles at the Los Angeles Cleantech Incubator, the Robert Redford Conservancy, and editorial leadership at the Barnard Columbia Urban Review. Across these positions, she’s driven data-informed strategic planning, conducted in-depth market analyses, built out geodesign platforms, and championed urban research.
Sofie is proficient in Microsoft Excel, ArcGIS, and Adobe Suite, leveraging these tools for financial modeling, spatial analysis, and economic development research.
