Charlotte Moore, Intern Analyst

Charlotte Moore, Graduate Student Intern Analyst, joined BJH Advisors while a Master of Urban Planning Student at New York University’s Robert F. Wagner of Public Service. She graduated from Furman University with a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics-Economics and Urban Studies. At BJH, Charlotte has supported project site research and incorporated a data-driven approach into developing project narratives.

Prior to BJH, Charlotte interned with the Greenville Housing Fund, where she managed the organization’s public interactions. In coordinating the operations of the Greenville Affordable Housing Coalition, she enhanced stakeholder engagement around developing affordable housing strategies in Greenville, South Carolina. Charlotte also supported the organization’s advocacy efforts through research and mapmaking. She developed client engagement skills through her work with emergency rental assistance programs during the COVID-19 pandemic.

During her time at Furman University, Charlotte studied the impact of urban systems on the people living within them. Her junior thesis examined transit-motivated gentrification and analyzed the impact of new transit construction on residential property values in Cincinnati, Ohio. She also held two fellowships with the Shi Institute for Sustainable Communities; as the City of Travelers Rest Fellow, she worked on development projects with the City of Travelers Rest, South Carolina, and as the Community Dialogue Fellow, she evaluated the potential for political violence using innovative local violence assessment tools.

Charlotte has extensive experience with ArcGIS, STATA, R, and the Microsoft suite. She is proficient in German.
