Ardsley Park Life Sciences Campus

BioMed Realty (BMR) is a leading national provider of life sciences real estate with over 11 million rentable square feet of operating assets in the US and United Kingdom. BMR engaged BJH to provide economic development advisory services for the repositioning and re-tenanting of Ardsley Park, a four-building office and research lab campus. BJH provided assistance in applying to the New York State Consolidated Funding Application (CFA) for capital grant funding, and to the Westchester County Industrial Development Agency (Westchester IDA) for sales tax and real property tax incentives. BJH performed an economic impact analysis on a full fit-out of 95,000 square feet of life sciences lab space to quantify the benefits to the County and State of reinvesting in this strategic asset. BJH also provided strategic advice and project management services, as well as engaging with key stakeholders in the community to build support for the project. The project was approved by the Westchester IDA in December 2019.
