Andre Parker, Intern Analyst
Andre Parker is an Intern Analyst at BJH Advisors and a senior at Fordham University's Lincoln Center campus, pursuing a double major in French and Francophone Studies and Marketing with a minor in Anthropology. Andre has developed a strong interest in urban sociology, consumer culture, and the intersection of community and identity and the built environment. Through his coursework in health and social justice, political economy, material culture, and art history, he has built skills in qualitative research, academic writing, and cross-cultural communication.
In fall 2025, Andre studied abroad in Paris, where he conducted object-based fieldwork and research on African textiles as cultural expression and completed museum analyses and visits at institutions including the Louvre, Musée d'Orsay, Musée du Quai Branly, and the Institut du Monde Arabe. The experience deepened his understanding of how cultural heritage is documented, contested, and displayed in cosmopolitan urban contexts.
At Fordham, Andre has served as a founding member and the 2026-2027 President of the Editorial Board of the university's Anthropology and Sociology Society, where he facilitates meetings, organizes events, and coordinates outreach and engagement initiatives. He is proficient in qualitative research, analytical writing, Microsoft Office Suite, and Adobe InDesign. Andre brings a cross-disciplinary perspective, grounded in anthropology and urban studies, to his work at BJH Advisors.
