NYC Heliports Economic Impacts Analysis

BJH completed an economic impact study of the helicopter and heliport industry in NewYork City. BJH obtained jobs and wage information from members of the helicopter industry, which then served as inputs to the economic impact analysis. This allowed BJH to assess direct, indirect, and induced economic impacts from the helicopter industry. BJH also analyzed the type off lights (charter, tourism, and emergency services), created time travel savings models and CO2 emissions comparisons for trip via helicopters versus cars, and researched industry investments in the future of electric vertical take-off and landing aircrafts.
