St. Louis Strategic Land Use Plan Update

BJH Advisors served as the market and economic development subconsultant to Interboro Architects for the St. Louis Strategic Land Use Plan (SLUP) Update, conducted for the St. Louis Planning andUrban Design Agency. BJH provided a comprehensive analysis of demographic, economic, and socio-environmental conditions and trends in both the City of St. Louis and the broader St. Louis Metropolitan Statistical Area. This included an in-depth market trends assessment of the office and industrial sectors.In collaboration with Interboro, BJH played a key role in updating the strategic land use map, identifying opportunity sites, and highlighting areas where the City and its partners could take a proactive role in development. Additionally, BJH developed actionable strategies to facilitate implementation of the SLUP, drawing on best practices from across the United States to inform St. Louis’s approach to equitable and sustainable growth.
