NYC Ferry Extension Analysis

For the Hallets Point Alliance, BJH completed an evaluation of the potential demand that could result from extending the existing NYC Ferry Astoria route from its current terminus at the Astoria Landing in Queens to the East 90th Street Landing in Manhattan. BJH estimated how the new connection could impact ridership between Astoria and East 90th Street, as well as other Astoria line stops. BJH also compared demographics along the Astoria Ferry route with other stops in the system and summarized key benefits from the proposed improvement including capital and operating efficiencies and time travel savings.
