Pennsauken Transit CenterTransit-Oriented Development Study

BJH collaborated with STV,Inc.,to draft the Pennsauken Transit Center Transit-Oriented DevelopmentStudy. The study, conducted as part of NJ TRANSIT’s Transit Friendly Planning Program, was intended to determine feasible typologies of transit-oriented development at and around the Pennsauken Transit Center in Pennsauken Township, New Jersey. BJH undertook a demographic, economic, and real estate analysis to understand current conditions and community needs. This analysis informed a site selection exercise that identified available parcels that are private and publicly owned for transit-oriented development based on characteristics such as existing use, parcel size, transit connectivity, and community needs.
