Propel NY Energy Line Real Estate and Planning Services

BJH was engaged as a subconsultant to WSP to provide real estate and planning services in support of the Propel NY Energy line–a planned new underground power line that will connect offshore wind generation to the Suffolk, Nassau, Queens, Bronx, and Westchester power grids. Tasks included preparing a database of properties along and adjacent to the planned power line right of way, GIS mapping, preparing analysis of route context and property characteristics, preparing an analysis of assessed values and high-level property values, and supporting a risk assessment of route sections.
